In the matter of Sarish Khan

Reasoning is a craft.
She practices it in every room she’s in.

General Counsel by day, storyteller by disposition — Sarish builds arguments for a living and teaches other people to build their own.

Ten-plus years of deal rooms taught her that the best negotiators aren’t the loudest people in them — they’re the clearest thinkers.

Sarish Khan is a corporate attorney and General Counsel at a private equity-backed healthcare apparel manufacturer, where she leads M&A and deal negotiation at a scale most lawyers twice her age haven’t touched. She was appointed GC at 35.

Outside the boardroom, she’s a writer, producer, and former runway model with a long-running commitment to human rights advocacy for women. She’s currently developing a television script and a feature film, alongside a Substack that applies legal reasoning frameworks to the arguments people have every day — at work, in relationships, in rooms where the stakes are higher than anyone admits.

She’s the founder of State Your Case, a coaching practice teaching non-lawyers how to think and argue with the structure of a trained litigator. Based in Venice, she dances Bhangra, plays padel badly on purpose, and believes most disagreements are really just bad case-building.
